Held by Grace

Held by Grace is a deeply personal expression of unwavering faith, quiet surrender and complete trust in God’s unfailing grace. With her eyes lifted towards heaven and hands gently folded in prayer, she rests in the assurance that every prayer is heard, every burden is known, and every step is held securely in the Creator’s hands. Her peaceful expression reflects the confidence that comes from placing every hope, fear and dream before God.

This original oil painting captures a sacred moment of stillness—a reminder that strength is often found in surrender. The warm, luminous palette and expressive brushwork create an atmosphere of peace and hope, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect and reconnect with their own journey of faith. Rather than portraying a moment of desperation, Held by Grace speaks of quiet confidence, knowing that God’s timing is always perfect.

Created in oils on canvas, the artwork blends realism with expressive painterly textures, allowing light and colour to become part of the emotional narrative. Every brushstroke contributes to the sense of calm, while the upward gaze symbolises trust beyond what can be seen. Whether displayed in a living room, bedroom, study or prayer space, this painting offers daily encouragement and serves as a gentle reminder that grace is always present.

For collectors of Christian-inspired art, Held by Grace is both a meaningful statement piece and a timeless expression of hope. It celebrates the peace that comes from placing life completely in God’s hands and trusting Him with every tomorrow.

Best Framing Options

A classic floating frame in antique gold, walnut or matte black beautifully complements the warm earth tones and soft highlights within the painting. These finishes enhance the richness of the oils while allowing the portrait to remain the focal point.

Museum-quality, non-reflective glass is recommended if the artwork is framed behind glass, while conservation-grade materials help preserve the painting for generations. Neutral linen or off-white matting can further enhance its elegant presentation.

Best Suited For

Held by Grace creates a peaceful focal point in spaces designed for reflection and encouragement. It is especially suited to living rooms, bedrooms, prayer rooms, studies, church offices and reception areas where faith and hope are celebrated.

It also makes a thoughtful gift for baptisms, confirmations, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or anyone seeking comfort, encouragement or spiritual renewal.
